What changed
- Solo5 is permanently shut down. SoloC, SoloHTML, SoloCSS, SoloJS, SoloLua, Studios, Hub, and SoloPage are no longer offered or developed.
- Archived products are removed from the website: SoloRUST, OpenKVM, and SC15DS no longer appear in navigation or product listings.
- We are standing up this blog for clear, public updates when something this large changes.
Why
Solo5 and several archived projects depended on external source hosting, releases, and download distribution. That pipeline is unavailable. Rather than leave half-broken open-source pages and dead download links online, we are shutting Solo5 down permanently and clearing archived products off the site.
This is not a temporary pause for Solo5. The suite will not return under the Solo5 name on this site.
Downloads & payments
DeskCore buy and downloads are live. Purchase on Polar — Polar sends the latest installer with your purchase. A backup installer also lives on sologem.xyz.
- Software you already downloaded and installed still works.
- Solo5 open-source material stays shut down — source hosting, release links, and other external downloads for Solo5 remain offline.
What stays
SoloGem’s commercial and active lineup remains the focus: DeskCore, ReflexCore, Outpost, SoloXR (when it ships), and Services. Company pages — About, Investors, Status, Tips — stay up.
